Microdosing kit

Kit contents

Included in the Microdosing kit are:

  • A spray bottle of base liquid (90% demineralized water, 10% alcohol)
  • A bag containing 2 (normal) or 4 (extra strong) stamps of 100mcg

You can use the extra pouch found in the kit to keep your spray bottle sealed and hygienic (preferably in the refrigerator or a dark, cool place).

Starting up the kit

Before you can start microdosing, the Microdosing kit must be "started up. To start up the Microdosing kit:

  1. Remove the stamps from the bag. Use tweezers or a plastic glove to pick up the stamps with. This will prevent bacterial contamination (this can reduce quality).
  2. Cut each seal in half. They will then fit better into the bottle.
  3. Carefully unscrew the cap from the spray bottle and lift the nebulizer out of the bottle. Put the pieces of seal cut in half into the bottle.
  4. Now screw the cap with nebulizer back on properly (straight) so it won't leak later.
  5. Put the bottle in the storage bag and place it in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours to allow the LSD to dissolve in the liquid. Shake the bottle or occasionally gently up and down.
  6. The microdosing kit is now ready to use!

Storing the kit

Store the spray bottle in a cool place and in the aluminum storage bag or container, so that your sealant does not get contaminated with outside substances. It is no problem to keep the kit outside the refrigerator for a while (a few days), such as if you are going away for a weekend and want to take it with you.

  • The kit will keep for at least 6 months after it is started (if kept cool and dark).
  • Never put the vial in the sun or in a warm/hot place. This causes the LSD to break down faster.
  • Keep the microdosing kit out of reach of children
  • Keep the microdosing kit out of reach of pets

Preparations

If microdosing is new to you, go through the following steps first:

  1. Read up, do a little research on microdosing
  2. Set goals for your microdosing journey
  3. Keeping a journal
  4. Defining your schedule
  5. Finding your 'sweet spot'

Do your research

The first step is to do "research. Listen or read some experience stories and short documentaries, or read up on microdosing.

By immersing yourself in it, your chances of having a successful and positive experience become a lot better. You will know better what to expect and what not to expect and also learn how microdosing works in practice.

On this website you will find a lot of information about microdosing, including.

Goals and intentions

Your microdosing experience will be more successful if you set goals. By setting goals or setting an intention, you are more likely to gain insights about them during your microdosing journey.

Commonly heard goals and intentions are:

- I'm curious, want to see what it does,
- I want more energy,
- I want more focus on work or study,
- I want less stress,
- I want to feel more positive, get rid of my depressive feelings,
- I want to sleep better.

All goals and intentions are good. If you don't have a goal or intention (yet), that's no problem either. Sometimes the purpose of your journey also arises only during the microdosing process.

Keeping a journal

To get the most out of your microdosing journey, it is advisable to keep a diary. In it, note down on each microdosing day the amount you took and the time you took it.

The day(s) after your microdosing day, you can write down any insights and changes you observe as a reminder. This way, over time, you will gain a good understanding of your process and learn even better which dose works best for you.

Defining your schedule

To properly observe the effects microdosing has on you, a set routine is recommended, a schedule.

Experts and experienced microdosers come up with roughly the same guideline for microdosing with LSD. And that one assumes a 3-day cycle, which you follow for 8 to 10 weeks. You then take a microdose on day 1, and on days 2 and 3 you take nothing. The day after that you start the cycle again.

DAY 1: Microdosing day
DAY 2: Transition day (not microdosing)
DAY 3: Normal day (not microdosing)

(The day after your microdosing, the transition day, you can sometimes still feel the effects of the microdosing in the background. This is also called the "afterglow.")

If there is a day or a few more days between microdosing days, it is not a problem.

CAUTION
A common pitfall with microdosing is that people forget to take their dose. We therefore recommend that you set a reminder on your phone or PC.

Intuitive microdosing
Once you have gained some experience, you can also intuitively follow your own schedule or routine. As long as you always take at least 2 rest days. If you don't, you will need a higher dose to achieve the same effect as on your last microdosing day.

For more information, see the LSD tolerance calculator.

Finding your 'sweet spot'

The trickiest step in microdosing is finding the right dose, also known as the sweetspot. This is the amount that works best for you (and it varies from person to person).

The first few times you microdose you may not notice anything at all, or you may notice too much. This may demotivate you, or make you feel that microdosing is not for you.

If things don't go as expected, don't give up too quickly! Increase or decrease the dose incrementally until you find the dose that feels most comfortable for you.

Once you find the right dose, you'll quickly realize why so many people are excited about microdosing!

You'll read more about finding the right dose in the next chapter.

Microdosing with LSD

You can start microdosing if:

  • You have started the kit and allowed it to rest for at least 24 hours
  • You have read about the possible side effects and combination use
  • You have read the disclaimer
  • You have gone through the preparations.

How should I take it?

Ingestion is done by spraying under your tongue. Keep it there for about 5 minutes and then swallow it. The LSD is absorbed faster this way (through your mucous membranes). The remainder you swallow is absorbed more slowly and partially broken down.

Each spray contains 1 microgram (mcg=1-millionth of a gram) of LSD (or 2mcg if you have the extra-strong kit). For example, if you want to dose 5 micrograms, spray 5x under your tongue.

Do not drink (tap) water fifteen minutes before and after ingestion. Tap water contains chlorine and other compounds that can adversely affect proper function.

Remember to shake the bottle before use.

What is the right dose?

Finding the right dose is essential for an enjoyable and worthwhile microdosing experience. The right dose is different for everyone and can even vary from person to person and situation to situation.

If you have no experience at all with microdosing, we recommend starting with a low dose of 5mcg to 8mcg .

If you notice nothing or very little, increase the dose on your next microdosing day. If you started with 5 sprays, increase your dosage to 8 sprays. If you started with 8 sprays, go to 12 sprays.

The point at which you have found the right dosage is up to you. There is no right or wrong. It's what feels best for you and fits best into your daily routine. We also note that the effect of exactly the same dose can feel different each time and depends on your mood, what you have eaten and whether you are fit or tired, among other things. The more often you microdose, the easier dosing becomes.

On average, people take 10-15 sprays, but there are also those who have enough with 5 sprays and some who take as many as 20-30.

The effect can last for up to 10-12 hours. Therefore, it is recommended to start before 11am.

The first few times you microdose you may not notice anything at all, or you may notice too much. This may demotivate you, or make you feel that microdosing is not for you. If things aren't going as expected, don't give up too quickly! Gradually increase (or decrease) the dosage until you find the right dose.

Microdosing tips

If microdosing is new to you
Microdosing is perfectly compatible with work, studying, sports, social events and everything else you normally do in your daily life.

But, if you are just starting microdosing then it is advisable to do it the first few times on days when you have just a little more rest, time and especially no obligations (day off, weekend, vacation).

Drinking coffee on microdosing days
You can drink coffee as normal during your microdosing days. But, don't drink too much, as a high intake of caffeine can negatively affect your experience. The focus and "fussiness" that coffee can give comes on top of the energy boost that microdosing can give. See also: microdosing and drinking coffee

Microdosing and driving
LSD contains
psychoactive compounds, which can affect perception, mood and cognitive processes, even at small doses. Although the effects in microdosing are very subtle, they can sometimes lead to (temporary, intermittent) decreased alertness, absent-mindedness and reduced reaction times - all critical factors during activities such as driving a car or operating a forklift.
See also: microdosing and driving.

We do not recommend driving on microdosing days when microdosing with psychedelics, and this is a little more especially true for people who have little or no experience with the effects of microdosing.
