1P-LSD is a lysergamide and is considered within the research community to be a compound closely related to LSD-25, the classic form of LSD. The prefix “1P” refers to the propionyl group that has been added to the LSD structure. Its full name is therefore 1-propionyl-LSD.

As a result, 1P-LSD belongs to the same broader family of lysergamides, along with AL-LAD and LSA, among others.
